Our Cabins
Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and overlooking the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, you have all the luxuries needed for a romantic getaway in Virginia with the quiet and solitude offered in our luxury cabins. Our romantic cabins have a king-sized bed, a private outdoor hot tub, a large bathroom, and a living room with a fireplace. Full kitchens, gas grills, decks, high speed internet, and luxurious robes are standard in all of these Shenandoah Valley cabins.
The Ivy and Sunset cabins are on a tall ridge with stunning views of the valley and distant Appalachian Mountains. Our newest cabins, Treetop and Mountain View, have wonderful views and offer luxury amenities such as heated bathroom floors. The Pond View cabin is our dog-friendly cabin and is on the banks of our private pond. Ivy Cabin
Head up to the Ivy Cabin for the perfect romantic getaway in Virginia. Few Cabins in Virginia offer the excellent views and amenities that you’ll find here! As soon as you walk through the front door of this charming cabin, all of your worries disappear. A romantic cabin for two with beautiful views of the Shenandoah Valley and Allegheny mountains in the distance greets you, and life is great. This secluded Virginia cabin rental sits just inside the woods atop the highest point of our property.
With panoramic views of the from the front porch, you will see the most amazing sunsets you can imagine. While lodging at the Ivy Cabin, you can cook on the gas BBQ grill and enjoy a bottle of wine while watching the golden sunset from the comfortable front porch. After dinner, enjoy the hot tub and lounge chairs overlooking 100 acres of woods on the private back deck.
Only the squirrels and deer will see you, and the only visitors you will get during your stay are the cows that may greet you on your drive up the hill to the cabin. Accessible only from a long private road you’ll experience complete privacy and peace. This cabin in Virginia, located near the Blueridge Parkway and Crabtree Falls, is the perfect home base for exploring the Shenandoah Valley!
You will be pampered inside with a king bed, gas fireplace (seasonal), 50” UHD Smart TV with streaming services, and Wi-Fi Internet. The fully remodeled bathroom has a huge 4’x6′ walk in tiled shower with dual shower heads, updated vanity, all new plumbing fixtures, and new flooring.
The cabin is stocked with all the towels and linens you’ll need including luxurious robes. For reservations of five or more days we’ll deliver fresh towels on the third day of your stay. In the bathroom you’ll find Gilchrist & Soames bath soaps and shampoo.
The fully appointed kitchen is lightly stocked with non-perishable items such as coffee, tea, sugar, creamers, salt/pepper, some spices, paper products, and dish soaps. Kitchen appliances include a full size refrigerator, range, dish washer, microwave, and drip style coffee maker. If you are celebrating your honeymoon or just need a quick romantic getaway in Virginia, this cabin located near Steeles Tavern, Virginia is the place you want to be.
All cabins are self check in/out. About 7-10 days prior to your arrival you will receive an email with directions and the code for the door lock. When you arrive you may go directly to your cabin as there is no need to check in at the Manor.
This cabin is not accessible by motorcycle because of the gravel access road.

My Husband and I celebrated our Anniversary in the IVY cabin this past weekend. It was nothing short of amazing! It was beautiful, peaceful, better than we imagined. The cabin itself was beautiful, very comfy bed. From the fully stocked kitchen, the hot tub (our favorite), the grill, to the cows we loved it all! It was secluded, but yet we felt very safe. We enjoyed Rockbridge Vineyard, and the Safari.
Throughout our time there I posted a few videos, and everyone wanted to know where we found this beauty. I have not told them yet, and this may be one of our sacred places!! We will definitely be back, and again Thank you!

Sunset Cabin
If it’s peace and quiet you’re looking for, then look no further, because you’ve found the right place at the Sunset Cabin in Virginia. This beautiful cabin is tucked into the woods on a high ridge in the Shenandoah Valley with 180-degree views of the distant Allegheny Mountains.
The secluded back deck of the Sunset Cabin has the cleanest hot tub you’ll ever see and lounge chairs that overlook 100 unspoiled forested acres. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the front porch while listening to…absolutely nothing. Accessible only from a private road, you’ll enjoy complete privacy and peace. The only visitors you will get during your stay are the cows that may greet you on your drive to the cabin (don’t worry, there’s a cattle guard so you’ll never wake up with cows on the front porch).
Perfect for romantic getaways in Virginia, this cabin is complete with a large bedroom with a king size bed. The upscale rustic bathroom features concrete counter tops, farmhouse style sink, a 4′ x 6′ tin lined walk in shower with a skylight, a 6″ shower-head and a 10″ rain shower-head. The sitting room has a gas fireplace (seasonal), 50” UHD TV with streaming services, and Wi-Fi Internet. The cabin is stocked with all the towels and linens you’ll need including luxurious robes. A perfect anniversary getaway in the Sunset Cabin. The ideal location for serenity, solitude, and quiet. Absolute stillness at night. The trees surrounding the property are beautiful; the view is even better than described in any review -- it has to be experienced. Rarely does a property surpass expectations, but this one achieves that distinction

Pond View Cabin
You’re in for a treat because you’re staying at the Pond View Cabin for your special getaway! For the couple who especially loves the great outdoors, this cabin rental has a private back deck overlooking our spring-fed pond where wildlife abounds, along with the blue heron who fishes our pond.
The private covered back deck has a hot tub, and a bistro dining table with 2 chairs. You’ll enjoy views of the pond and mountain pastures from your backyard sitting area where you can relax or fish for bass, crappie, and bream. Catch and release fishing in the pond is available for you to enjoy.
Our Pond View Cabin is a motorcycle accessible. With advance notice, we have an enclosed garage area for your motorbikes if needed. The Pond View Cabin is also our dog friendly cabin. Do you have a dog that rides a motorcycle? This is the place for you! We do charge a fee of $30 per day per dog (2-dog maximum). Please review our pet policy on our policies page if you decide to bring your dog, and sign our agreement prior to your stay.

We were looking for a cabin with a hot tub in the Shenandoah Valley and the Pond View cabin was perfect for us and our dog! So CLEAN, quiet, and rejuvenating. We loved the private hot tub on the back porch the most. The plush robes were so comfy after the hot tub too. Watching the animals around the pond made life slow down and we felt like we could breathe again. Life stress melted away. We took a hike to Crabtree falls and we ate at the Mill Street Grill in Staunton (delicious!!). Dana and Trey thought of everything! We will be back!

Treetop Cabin
Built high above the ground in a grove of trees, you’ll feel like you’re in a treehouse as you gaze at the beautiful views from the Treetop Cabin.
Like our other Shenandoah Valley cabins, this one is designed as a romantic couple’s retreat. But this cabin has the feel of a tiny tree house. It is nestled into a grove of trees and is built on posts about 8′ off the ground. The large covered front porch has a gas grill and seating for two overlooking our grounds and the Valley beyond.
You will be pampered with a modern luxurious bathroom featuring a large walk in shower with dual shower heads, a heated tile floor, towel warmer, and access to the private tree covered outdoor shower deck (seasonal). The bedroom has a king bed and large window overlooking our beautiful property. In the living room you’ll find a gas log stove (seasonal) and a 50” UHD smart TV loaded with streaming services. The cabin is stocked with all the towels and linens you’ll need including luxurious robes. For reservations of five or more days we’ll deliver fresh towels on the third day of your stay. In the bathroom you’ll find Gilchrist & Soames bath soaps and shampoo.
The fully appointed kitchen is lightly stocked with non-perishable items such as coffee, tea, sugar, creamers, salt/pepper, some spices, paper products, and dish soaps. Appliances include a full size range, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave.
The hot tub is set in a cozy romantic nook at ground level below the house…completely private and out of the weather.
The interior is decorated with an upscale rustic feel using reclaimed material and found objects (the light fixture in the kitchen is made from material pulled out of our creek). Coming in at just over 455 interior square feet, this cozy cabin will be perfect for a romantic getaway for two.

This was our first time staying on the Steeles Tavern Manor property, which was wonderful. We stayed in the Treetop Cabin, which was very private, scenic and well-equipped with for our needs and some luxury too. The location is easy to find and within 5-20 minutes (depending on what you are looking for) of restaurants, grocery stores, hiking, wineries and breweries.
Dana and Trey are fabulous and gifted hosts. They even left us a note on the fridge at check-in wishing us a happy anniversary. We look forward to our next stay at this beautiful place. We have stayed in a lot of cabins, and the ones at Steeles Tavern Manor are truly the best cabins in Virginia!

Mountain View Cabin
The newest of our five cabins, the Mountain View cabin is the perfect romantic retreat. It boasts a large front covered porch with a gas grill and seating for two overlooking our grounds and the Allegheny Mountains in the distance. The interior is decorated in a modern country style. Coming in at just over 455 interior square feet and about 350 square feet of outside deck space, this cozy “tiny house” cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway for two.
You will feel like you’re at a spa in the modern luxurious bathroom featuring a large walk in tile shower, heated tile floor, and a towel warmer for those chilly fall mornings.
The bedroom has a king bed and large window overlooking our beautiful property. In the living room you’ll find a stunning 6′ wide electric fireplace set below a huge 6’x 6′ picture window with views of the rolling countryside and mountains in the distance. The 43″ UHD TV is loaded with numerous free streaming services, and high speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the cabin. The cabin is stocked with all the towels and linens you’ll need including luxurious robes. For reservations of five or more days we’ll deliver fresh towels on the third day of your stay. In the bathroom you’ll find Gilchrist & Soames bath soaps and shampoo.

My now husband and I stayed in the Mountain View private cabin, and wow! We are so lucky to have found STM and their perfect cabins nestled in the Shenandoah Valley. The location is great - not far from DC or from excellent hiking opportunities; the town of Staunton is charming and has some of the best farm-to-table restaurants.
Trey and Dana made us feel so welcome by leaving us a special message for our mini-moon and the special touches like luxurious robes, heated bathroom floors, electric fireplace, not to mention the private hot tub with sweeping views of the rolling hills that lit up at sunset. We were so comfortable, so at peace, and so happy to have such beautiful luxury cabins with surroundings while we made precious memories as a newly married couple. Thank you!
